Hi,

I have on my company two Vlan (192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.2.0/24)but without switch layer 3 so without connection them.

Now, I need to give application Citrix installed on a host 192.168.2.8 at some client from network 192.168.1.0.

So I think to deploy an a PIX 501 and connect interface inside on 192.168.2.0 and interface outside on 192.168.1.0.

Does anybody advice me an configuration about or documentation ?

Best regards

Lorenzo

Lorenzo,

Do you have to secure the connections between the 2 vlans - are they both internal to your company?

Yes,

they are both internal in my company but different department and I need to connect application from a network with some clients in the other.

best regards

Lorenzo

The easiest way would be to create an SVI interface on your primary switching/routing device if you have one.

If not - a router that has interfaces in both vlans will route between the 2 is also a good solution.

Do you have a router?

Do you have a switch capable of supporting SVI's?
