Hi All,
Anybody having a good tool to check load test on WAN link for example from A site to B site i want send the packet size with 34 mb (34816000 bytes) to check the load and performance as the link is 34 mb.
I tried to check from router but the maximum packet size it allowed is 18024.
CORE01#pi
Protocol [ip]:
Target IP address: 10.37.X.X
Repeat count [5]: 100
Datagram size [100]: 30720000
% A decimal number between 36 and 18024.
Datagram size [100]:
Please help me.

among the best software tools for traffic generation should be netperf and iperf.

I've used netperf some years ago between pairs of freeBSD workstations.
for the test you want to do you should use UDP flows to be free from flow control.

Hello Naidu,
I think they are similar for your objective.
The real problem is that you may need to deploy two linux boxes one on siteA and the other on siteB to perform the tests.
