CCDP certification prerequisites

Unanswered Question

I have passed the CCIE (R&S) lab. I want to do the CCDP certification. Is it necessary to pass the BSCI and BCMSN exams to get the CCDP certification ?

If I clear the 642-873 ARCH exam without doing the BSCI & BCMSN, will I be a CCDP?

I have this problem too.

The prereq is a CCNA & CCDA. You also need to take the following exams-

642-901 BSCI Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI)

642-812 BCMSN Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN)

642-873 ARCH Designing Cisco Network Service Architecture (ARCH)

If you completed BSCI and BCMSN from the CCNP track, then you do not need to take them again. If you have only passed the CCIE-Written, then you do need to take them.

Hope that helps.

I understand that I have to appear for 642-901, 642-812 and 642-873 for the CCDP track but I have already cleared the CCIE routing and switching in theory as well as the lab. In that case, the prereq the same?

Sorry, I thought you just passed the written. I'm pretty sure you only need to take ARCH for the CCDP.
