Hello ,
I would like to limit the user bandwidth with WLC. I would like to sell the internet service to the houses which are provided to employees. For this reason i am traying to limit the speed for the per user.
In this address ; http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/5.2/configuration/guide/c52ccfg.html#wpxref21838
Using the CLI to Configure QoS Profiles
To define the average data rate in Kbps for TCP traffic per user, enter this command:
config qos average-data-rate {bronze | silver | gold | platinum} rate
I see this command option. What is this for , is this option helps me ?
Regards...

hi
those config are for QoS profile, which i think is not the bandwidth limit for the user. perhaps you might consider another appliance which can do traffic-shapping or you can surf on the net for router traffic shapping (try limitting via ip address bw allocation)
