WAAS - changing name servers on WAE

Hi,

I have a need to change name servers as configured in each WAE. However after the changes are applied (via the all-devices group), and verified using 'show hosts' on each WAE, the WAE's are still attempting to use the old name server previously in use.

This is confirmed by a tcpdump on the old name server.

Is there a CLI command that can be restart name/lookup services on the WAE or is the only solution a reboot of each WAE? (A reboot fixes it - but I'd like to avoid a reboot if possible).

Found a way around it. Looks like it was only affecting our 4.1.1c and not 4.1.3 WAEs.

I just did a 'no ip domain-name abc.com' and then a 'ip domain-name abc.com' to re-apply it and the lookup services seemed to restart.
