I have a cisco3120
i do a
show mac address-table command-to see the entire table of the switch
and i can see a mac address associated
with a given interface
cm.stk#sh mac-
Mac Address Table
-----------------------------------------
108 001f.29de.4a76 DYNAMIC Gi1/0/14
however....
i do
clm.stk#sh mac address-table interface gigabitEthernet 1/0/14
Mac Address Table
-------------------------------------------
Vlan Mac Address Type Ports
---- ----------- -------- -----
and nothing
does this makes sense?

We don't have that issue on our 3120s. We're running cbs31x0-universal-mz.122-46.SE.
You should be able to see the MAC address. The command you've input is also correct.

Hi, just curious...
Can you use "Gi1/0/14" in the interface command? It should work the way you did it, but Im just curious if its not a silly bug...
Thanks
Victor
