transfer hp switch settings over to new cisco switches

hp procurve 2650 and cisco 3750 switches.

can i copy over the startup-config cmds from the hp and paste them in the cisco?

I wouldn't try the two command syntaxes can be similar but not the same for clear copyright reasons.

The best way to go about doing this is to understand that configuration of the HP switch in its entirety and configure the 3750 from scratch.

I really dont recommend just copying and pasdting commands that you dont understand.

I know this is the path of greater resistance, but it is the right way to do it, IMHO.
