6509 Module power issue

Running s72033-ipservicesk9-mz.122-18.SXF5.bin

Some module are not getting power.

I used to be in combined mode because I only had one power supply.

Now that i have two ps, i configured the Redundant mode and now 4 out of 7 modules are not getting power.

You only have 268 watts left and if you notice all individual cards are drawing more than that so the system will not power up those cards because your power supplies are too small.

Hi,

Are you using using 110Vac outlets? If you are using 110Vac, the 3000W power supply can only provide 1400W Max,, if you are using 220Vac, the 3000W power supply can provide all 3000W. Please take a look at the following link.

Check to see if "NO power enable module " is there or not.

no it is not there.

I used to be in combined mode because there were only one power

supply on the switch.

Might be something there!!!

Jeremie,

It is likely your cards are using more power than one power supply can handle. Power supplies in redundant mode only provide enough power as one of the power supplies. You will probably have to either configure the switch for combined mode or purchase larger power supplies.
