I tried to log in to the IME this morning to one of my IPS sensors on an ASA5520. I was able to log in and navigate the home tab, and the event tab. Whenever I tried to access the configuration tab however, I rec'd an error: "An error occurred loading the configuration, Use Tools->Console Window menu item to see the log".
That log is attached. I've tried uninstalling the IME several times and also accessing the IPS sensor configuration through the ASDM - all to no avail. This is happening on all three of my IPS sensors (different ASA's). Anybody have any advice?

1.) Close IME completely (and any/all other applications using Java,
including all web browsers).
2.) Clear the Java cache by opening the Java Control Panel and under the
General tab > Temporary Internet Files, click the Settings... button,
then the Delete Files... button.
3.) Clear the IDM/IME caches by opening Windows Explorer, navigating to
your user directory, then deleting the .idm, .iev, and idmcache
directories.
try now...if this doesnt work then you may have to upgrade IME

Step 3 did the trick - thanks. I had acutally gotten this info yesterday from TAC after I posted this, but your instructions were exactly the same. I'm going to assume this information is listed somewhere in a FAQ or somthing and I missed it? :)
