Hi,i'm currently doing a proposal regarding the phone extention migration/extend,which's from 4digit to 5digit. Trying to get relevant resources from Cisco but counldn't get it. Any expert can advice any URL or what's best practice for such migration, things to take note as such.
Thanks in Advance.

We really do not have any documentation on that.
The only way to do so other than manually is via BAT.
Esport phones all details, modify the DNs, delete phones, reimport all details

AXL is also an option if you know your way around
direct manipulation of DB is also feasible but not supported

We at CDW Berbee have developed tools that allow this migration to be performed at large enterprise customers over the weekend as oppose to days ensuring there are no omissions, handling call forward extensions, etc, something that is only achievable manually natively. We can certainly assist if you decide to engage us.
