Attendant Console

Hello,

I have CCM version 7

I had Attendant console configuring and working, now when the users try to log in they get an error message:

Your Administrator must associate the phone with a valid application user"

based on the cisco DOC on version 7 the ac user shouldn't have the phones associated to it.

and I try to associate the phones to the ac user and i still have the same error

have you seen this?

Right, there should be another user account called something like acdeviceauthenication (something like that). The phones are then controlled by this application.

make sure the ac user and the user above have simple passwords such as 12345.

restart all CTI and AC services after setup.

It's a quirky setup ,but follow the forum tips for AC 6.x setup and it will work the same as well. I usually refer back a couple posts from others and get it to work.
