Presence 6.0.4. In customer AD, the users are grouped under Department and all the departments are under OU=User.
When a user search for contact using CUPC, group name (department) also appeared in the CUPC search result.
How can we omit the department name (not actually a user). I checked recursive because the actual user name is not directly under OU=User, but under sub-group.
In the CUCM, when search for user ID, the result does not display the Group name under the User OU.

When search on the LDAP, there's a thing called "search filter".
"Search filter" is invisible from enduser/admin, but it exists on CUCM and CUPC.
"Search filter" on CUCM and CUPC are different.
On CUCM, you may change the search filter with AXL SQL Toolkit. On CUPC, you cannot change it.
You may submit a feature request form to a Cisco Account Manager.
Thanks!

It looks like there's already an enhancement request - CSCsd60968
