Hi all

I did a netstat on my pc, it is trying to connect to a pc behind the dmz, however when I do a netstat, the foreign address is showing the interface of the firewall, not the server im trying to connect to, is this due to the firewall trying to proxy the request, if so how would I stop this ?

Hello Carl,

what you see can be the result of NAT operation on the firewall and it can be correct.

Be aware that firewalls by default don't allow you to open connections from the outside less trusted side.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
