7914 Supported Phones

I am confused by what phones support the 7914 expansion module. Specifically does the Gigabit version of the 7961 support it? I am not having luck getting it to work so far.

The 7914 "is" supported with the 7961G-GE


CISCO UNIFIED IP PHONE EXPANSION MODULE 7914 SUPPORT


An optional 14-button add-on module, the Cisco Unified IP Phone Expansion Module 7914 (part number CP-7914=), provides 14 additional buttons for programming directory numbers or speed dials, or a combination of the two. Up to two modules can be used with the Cisco Unified IP Phone 7961G-GE.
