The neus 2148 has 48 Gigabit ports? Will those ports drop down too 100MB or even 10MB? The servers all run GB, but many of the ILO cards are still slower.

Yes, as far as i am aware the ports can only support 1Gbps. So if you need to support other speeds like 100 or 10 you would need another switch.
