C2801 Metro ISDN BACKUP

We have C2801 with (C2801-SPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.3(8)T11. In our enviroment this Router has a Principal MetroEtherne line with a ISDN BackUP. This backup points to an AS5300.

In some cases with this IOS and this equipment everything workds fine but in other we have this error while we are trying to verify that aur backup line is fine:

May 2 04:41:01: ASSERTION FAILED: file "/vws/bvb/CPY-v123_8_t_throttle.V123_8_T11/vob/ios.sys7/sys/obj-5k-c2801/../chips/gt96k/gt96k_timer.c", line 771

Any idea?.

Hi,

It's a bug (CSCeh67169) fixed in 12.3(14)T3 and later

Seems to be a cosmetic issue only.

Hi,

I have a question, in order to be only a cosmetic issue.

When the principal line goes down , we can see this error in the Router , the backup line doesn't work.

Any Idea?

I didn't faced this issue personally. It was a comment I read but it may not apply to all situation.
