Trying to Setup Fax Detect

Using the guide for UC500_onramp faxing, I get to the step where I add the parameters for the fax detect application.  I get a message "Warning: parameter fax-dtmf has not been registered under fax_detect namespace.  I get the same message when trying to enter the other parameters.

I am using the app_fax-detect.2.1.2.3.tcl file.

My end goal is to have incoming calls get detected as a fax or go to an all ring number.  If it is a fax, use the T37 store and forward to deliver the fax to an email address.

Those errors are benign. You can ignore them.

Thanks for the answer.

I added param prompt en_listen_first.au to play the prompt.   Is that correct?

I want the voice calls to go to extension 222.  I want the fax calls to go to 801 which is the extension setup using the T37 fax document.  How would it know to go to 222 for voice?

In the CCA, FXO-0/1/3 (the fax port) has 801 as the destination number.

Update to the thread:

Jason and I have exchanged a few private emails discussing some involved configuration steps in our IOS Fax Guide. We will post the final answer here once we make it work.

Thanks,

Marcos

Hi Jason,

here is the document I created addressing this application:

Hi Marcos,

I have good question for you !

I have uc500 with fax_dectection on my fxo 0/1/0

I have "param mode connect-first" for my application fax_detect

When my fax call my fxo, my AA Start "welcome bla bla bla"

When i start my fax for sending fax, My AA restart "Welcome Bla bla bla"

Where i can change in CLI direction for my fax like FXS or Fax to mail CUE (801@10.1.10.1)

Thank you !
