Thieves stole a CP-7941 and we are trying to determine what is the serial number of the phone.
Is there a way to find out on CUCM 7.0?
Thanks for the assistance and support.

Hi Leo,
I used Serial Grabber with CM 6.1. It works fine.
You can try it with CM 7.

All you can get from CUCM is the MAC address if it was already configured. It won't give you a serial number. Sorry to hear about that.

There are some tools that might help, but they need to have the phone plugged in so they can retrieve the info.
In your case since the phone is gone there is no way to get the info as CUCM is never aware of such information.

Hi Java,
Thanks for that. Do you know what tools are available to determine the serial number of the phone when it's plugged in?

It's not a tool. Log into your CM. Go to Device, phone, find the phone that you want the serial number for. Click on the ip address of the phone that is blue and is a link. It will open up a browser to the phone. From there on the first page, you can find the serial number.
