CM Express - MoH

Hi,

I have a Cisco 2811 running as CME. Things work well except MoH. I have configured "moh" command in telephony service but there's no moh when a call is put on hold.

When debug ephone moh, there're messages as follow:

"May 7 01:30:39.537: McastMoh is Unavailable due to low live feed signal and no valid moh file configured

May 7 01:30:43.197: No MOH entry for DN 1"

Could you explain the case and give me a workaround?

Thanks,

hoanghiep

Could you please post "show flash:" and your telephony-service config?

Make sure the moh file is in flash.

Make sure you have the tftp-server flash:mohfile.wav where "mohfile.wav" is the exact name of the file you have in flash.

Make sure under telephony-service you have the command moh mohfile.wav where mohfile.wav is the exact name of the file you have in flash.

That is the base configuration you should have.

Please rate if this helps.

A couple of items:

A music file must be in stored in the router's flash memory. This file should be in G.711 format. The file can be in .au or .wav file format, but the file format must contain 8-bit 8-kHz data; for example, ITU-T A-law or mu-law data format.

Once that is there, add the following commands.

config t

!

tftp-server flash:music-on-hold.wav

!

telephony-service

moh music-on-hold.wav

I've done all the steps as you listed. The file used is music-on-hold.au, the file is available in flash. But the issue is still there! :(

Send me a copy of the show run and the show flash. I'll throw in on my lab router and send it back.

Is this from IP phone to IP phone or IP phone to gateway?

I have taken the time to document this and feel it woul be beneficial to others
