I am planning on upgarding some old code on 4 WS-3550-48-SMI switches.
I was planning on using:
Filename c3550-ipbasek9-tar.122-44.SE6.tar (16 MB Flash reqiured)
It appears the flash only has 15.25 MB of RAM which can't be right??
Directory of flash:/

Any issues/problem with upgrading this?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
All 3550s have 16 MB of internal Flash memory. The Flash memory is not upgradeable.
There is a limit to the number of images that you can store in Flash. Always check the size, in bytes, of the image in the LAN Switches section of Downloads - Switches ( registered customers only) before you upgrade software. Issue the dir flash: command in order to compare the size of this image with the free space in Flash.
