I have a new 5505. My ping(icmp) requests are getting dropped from both the 5505 as well as the LAN its connected .
How to enable the icmp ??

Hi ,
Try the below config on ASA will help ur issue.
I assume here for testing i put any for source & destination is inside interface IP.
Try to create acl with inside_test like below & put u r inside interface ip @ end.
ciscoasa(config)#access-list inside_test permit icmp any host 192.168.1.1
Apply the ACL in Inside interface & then try
ciscoasa(config)#access-group inside_test in interface inside

Hi,
Now I can ping the internal Interface of the Firewall but not beyond that. From ASA too i'am unable to ping domain or IPs in internet.
