SSL VPN SVC installing error on PCs

hello!

ISR 2811 with SVC package installed on.

When client tries to connect via HTTPS and tries to install SVC error occurs:

â€œThe installer was not able to start the Cisco SSL VPN Client.

Please contact your IT administrator for more information.

Click here to logout.â€

this happens on VISTA or IE v7, IEv8...

On my PC when SVC was earlier installed I can establish VPN conn. The problem occurs only with new hosts.

The SSL VPN client isn't supported under Vista. You'll need to move to Anyconnect for it to work.

installing latest Anyconnect package solve my problem.

works under Xp and Vista 32-bit.

is there a way to install anyconnect on the router? I have an 1811.

sure!

first, check if Your IOS supports WebVpn.

I have installed webvpn+annyconect on 1841 and 2811.

the main goal is to install anyconnect package on the router, then when client connect via https site then he downloads the client from the router and install it on PC.

once installed client stays on PC.

tip: using SDM and trying installing anyconnect package You will get error!

try then to install this package via CLI or Cisco Configuration Prof.
