Hello Krishna,

you need to use PPP multilink with DDR

see the following document:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk713/tk507/technologies_tech_note09186a0080112d3b.shtml

you need to use at least 3 BRI to reach 384 kbps

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Note that due to IP overhead, the provided throughput will be less than 384 kbps to the application, you will then need a fourth BRI or reduce used bandwidth.

Hi Giuseppe,

Thanks for your reply.

Can it possible to communicate(making Video call) these Grouped BRI's (using multilink ppp)with E1 PRI at other end?

Regards,

Hello Krishna,

yes this is possible from the ISDN point of view this means using multiple B channels on both sides.

Take in account Paolo's note you may need 4 BRIs, usually 384 kbps is the Video bandwidth without overhead.

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Hi Giuseppe,

Thanks for u r reply.

I need one more clarification:

Can we connect 2 no.s of 1760 Router in same loaction with 2 BRI ckts

connected on each router and is it possible to use all BRI's (2+2)

total Bandwidth (512 Kbps) for a Video call?

Regards,

Hello Krishna,

this would require a feature called multichassis multilink.

But:

a) I doubt C1760 supports it

b) I think it works only inbound (receiving a call not making it)

see

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/dial/configuration/guide/dia_multichassis_link_ppp_ps6441_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html#wp1043334

Restrictions for Implementing Multichassis Multilink PPP

•Dialer profiles are not supported with MMP.

>>>•Dial-out is not supported with MMP.

•MMP supports PRI, BRI, serial, and asynchronous interfaces only.

using Feature Navigator

www.cisco.com/go/fn

search by feature

multichassis multilink PPP

the starting platform is 1805

(however, 1760 is out of sale)

Hope to help

Giuseppe
