WLC 4402 Errors

Hi Guys,

Wondering if anyone could help me with the following error messages in my WLC4402 log.

1.

May 08 07:58:33.909 apf_80211.c:3145 APF-4-ASSOCREQ_PROC_FAILED: Failed to process an association request from00:1e:7a:bb:8e:81. WLAN:2, SSID:****. message

with invalid supported rate.

2.

May 08 09:37:55.278 apf_80211.c:5142 APF-4-PROC_DOT11_MAC_MGMT_DATA_FAILED: Could not Process 802.11 MAC mgmt Data. Invalid toDs/fromDs bit set - packet ignored

Your first question.. It would appear the client in question 00:1e:7a:bb:8e:81 is not supporting your basic data rate.

I would track down that client (if you can and see what type of card it is and how it is config differently from our other clients)

When a client auth and ass to a wireless network it passes specific information, identify information if you will, what type of security, data rates etc ...

Ive never seen question number 2... I will get back to you unless someone else anwsers it before then...
