Active calls in connecting state

Hello,

When I run the command: show call active voice brief, I can see many calls in connecting state but with IP 0.0.0.0. Example:

2A4B : 1681681hs.1 +-1 pid:66666 Originate 1555 connecting

dur 00:00:00 tx:0/0 rx:0/0

IP 0.0.0.0:0 rtt:0ms pl:0/0ms lost:0/0/0 delay:0/0/0ms g729r8

2A58 : 1683479hs.1 +-1 pid:55555 Originate 1800 connecting

dur 00:00:00 tx:0/0 rx:0/0

IP 0.0.0.0:0 rtt:0ms pl:0/0ms lost:0/0/0 delay:0/0/0ms g729r8

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This is typical, for example, when calls are currently on hold. When using MoH, there is only an audio stream from the MoH server to the gateway, not in the reverse direction. Therefore, the gateway shows 0.0.0.0 because it does not transmit packets to any IP address during that time.

Hope it helps, if it does please rate.

Best regards.

Hello,

Your post was very helpful. Although, I don't think this are on hold calls because I have too many of them and they just wont disappear. I have reloaded the GW but the are still there. Here I copy the output of the command sh voip rtp connections

VoIP RTP active connections :

Thanks a lot in advance.

May be very well some bug, hopefully cosmetic only. Check the possibility of updating your IOS to a most stable version.
