Cisco 7606 crashes before %SYS-STDBY-5-RESTART:

I have a Cisco 7606-S non heavy services so far and unexpectedly it switchover the Supervisor Module (%SYS-STDBY-5-RESTART:) after this it crashed. What could it be?


I have this problem too.

Hello Marcos,

it looks like there is a problem of communication between the two supervisors.

This can be caused by one or more of the following:

one of sup linecards not well seated in the chassis

an hardware problem in one of them

a software bug affecting the redundancy feature.

If this happened more then one time I would suggest you to open a TAC Service Request.
