ICND1+ICND2=CCNA?

Unanswered Question

If I do 640-822 (ICND1) and 640-816 (ICND2) seperately then I get CCNA certification automatically or I have to do 640-802 exam to get the certification?

I have this problem too.

Hi Tamas,

You can take the two listed exams (as you nicely noted) to achieve the CCNA Cert. Or go the "one exam" route, both paths will derive the same outcome :)

CCNA Course Exams & Recommended Training

Required Exam(s)

640-802 CCNA

Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1)

Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2)

**OR

640-822 ICND1 Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1)

640-816 ICND2 Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2)

Hope this helps!

HI,

I took the 640-802 and I failed, now I want to take it again but don't know what to do. Take the two exams one after another (icnd1 after icnd2)

or just both in one exam. Please give me your suggestions.

Thks

Hi,

Sorry to hear that. I am planning on Studying for CCNA. I do have question for you? What Study Materials did you use?

I use Packet Tracer 5.0 as simulation software. it would be a plus if you find at least a cisco switch and an old router, because the simulation doen't have all the commands

What Books did you use?

CCNA Study Guide 6th Ed Sybex Todd Lammle?

or

CCNA Official Exam Certification Library

which series is better?
