I have a client who we are designing the network infrastructure to deploy the UC500 system in the Main Office. Currently, two ASA 5505 (Base License) have been configured as a site-to-site VPN tunnel to connect the main office to the remote office. The UC 500 will be deployed in the main office and a remote office will have up to 5 phones. We would like the remote site phones to register and allow for priority of voice over data.
Both ASA 5505 have Base License and software version 8.0(4) installed. There are only three VLANs used - WAN, LAN and DMZ.
Can the ASA be used to prioritize voice over data between the two sites? If so, can this be done with priority queuing or an upgrade to the license to allow priority on VLAN?
Has anyone deployed this kind of scenario? If so, can you send me the configuration?
Many thanks in advanced for your support and response.
