HiAll,


I have to do syslog rotation in the LMS 3.1.


The logs are saved in C:, size is 100,000.Once this log size is exceeds. This logs will save to D:/,size 500000,revision is 10.Kindly advice me any workaround for this solution.

You haven't really described a problem here. You have just mentioned your logrot configuration. Are you saying logrot is not working with this configuration?

Hi,

If u want u can decrease the revisions to 10 and check if the Log Rotation happens. Also u can schedule an immediate Job for the same.

Also do let us know as to ur problem to help.

The logrot is not working ,Once the primary disk log message is exceeds The logs is not going to backup directory.

Post your NMSROOT/objects/logrot/logrot.conf, and the output of:


NMSROOT/bin/perl NMSROOT/bin/logrot.pl -v
