Loadbalancing + sticky session

Hi All,

I'm new to hardware load balancing.

The present application we have in production is using apache/mod_jk as loadbalancer... which has capability to manage sticky sessions.

I was going thru Cisco hardware loadbalancer configuration but, I'm unable to find any information related to the same.

Any pointers would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Suresh

You don't say which type of hardware you are using ie. CSM, ACE etc. Regardless of this both types of device will support sticky sessions so you should be able to achieve what you want.

There is a dedicated forum for load-balancing etc. -> Data Center -> Application Networking. You will get answers to your questions a lot quicker in that forum as that is where the relevant experts are.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'll follow the load-balancing forum.

Thanks,

Suresh
