ASA software license question, upgrade from 7.0 to 8.2 need new license?

Hi,

Ive been tasked with upgrading an ASA 5520 from software version 7.0(5) to the latest release 8.2.

ive read the release notes but cannot find an answer to my question, wich is: will the ASA require a new software license to be purchased to do this?

fyi the 5520 currently has a ASA 5520 VPN Plus license.
