Recently I bought a FLASH memory; I tied replacing it with the FLASH mem I had.
The problem is, its not working...

I think i will need to buy bootrom, else it doesnt recognise 32MB flash? Sounds rubblish,

Hi Sylvester,
This is one of the biggest pain to a 2600 router. You can't upgrade the bootstrap easily and require additional purchase and downtime. This was identified and starting from the 2691 onwards (3725/3745) you can now upgrade the bootstrap using software.
