What is the maximum number of CCTV in a 1140?

Hi Rheann,
Is your CCTV a wireless unit?
Is your 1140 in LWAP?
By default, a total of 12 clients can simultaneously associate to an LAP. Cisco does not recommend no more than 25 clients per LAP.
Just note that even though alot of people want to saturate a LAP with a significant number of clients, wireless is a large broadcast. The higher the number of clients are associated to ONE LAP, the slower the speed and bandwidth.
It gets even worst with CCTV when they transmit continuously to the LAP.
Hope this helps.

Yes, CCTV is a wireless unit and will be connecting to the 1140 but it will be dedicated for the CCTV only so no other client will connect to the siad AP.
The initial design for the 1140 is in autonomous set-up.

Hi Rheann,
Currently, only LWAP IOS is available for the 1140. Did you get the pre-release Autonomous IOS (aIOS) for the 1140?
