Topology services on LMS 3.1 encountered ANIServer6.0 error

Hi all,

Need help as we encountered ANIServer6.0 error when we try to go to Topology Services on Campus Manager. Please see attached file on the error seen. I have tried restarting the ANIServer process from Common Services but to no avail. From the Services window on the Windows Server 2003 I can see that the ANI service has started.

Appreciate your help on this. Thanks in advance.

Verify that TCP ports 42342 and 43242 are open between client and server, and that the client can properly resolve the server's short hostname.

To test that the TCP ports are open, you should be able to telnet from the client to the server on those two ports, and get a successful connection:

telnet SERVER 42342

telnet SERVER 43242

If the ports are blocked, you will need to have your security team allow them.
