GLC-T not working with SPA-5X1GE-V2 or ES20 in 12.2(33)SRC3

Answered Question

Servus,

we have some trouble with copper sfp's in a 7604 with sip-400 and SPA-5X1GE-V2 or 7600-ES20.

We tried some other sfp's but the link on the 7604 is still down. We don't have the problem with fiber sfp's.

Negotiation cannot be configured on the interface,

Any ideas?

André

I have this problem too.

You need SFP-GE-T, according to the release notes, I don't see GLC-T listed for support under SPA-5X1-GE-V2

André,

Sorry for asking for the SFP model, you included that information on the subject.

I've updated my previous reply.

hi edison,

thank you for your fast response. You're right, GLC-T is only supported for the rsp but not for spa's or es20 :(. I guess we don't have a chance to get the glc-t's working right ?

That is correct. You need to purchase the SFP I mentioned above for the ES20 and SPA module.
