QoS-WRR in L3 switching

Hi,

We are required to apply WRR QoS on Cat4500 series. But I am not able to understand the concept or WRR. Somehow I am getting confused while understanding the concept/theory.

Egress-queue, threshold ,Cpf, weight ?.

Please share the info?

(Other QoS like Police, shape, Bandwidth -- based on class-map and policy-map are fine and working properly)

Any link on cisco.com?

Thanks in advance

Subodh

Hi Subodh,

QoS on 4500 is different from the classic LAN QoS you have on the 2K/3K and 6500 chassis. Configuration also changes with the Supervisor Engine type.

Here is the configuration guide for 4500:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4500/12.2/50sg/configuration/guide/qos.html#wp1437305
