Brian,

This message means that the system clock is more than 15 minutes off from the time set by NTP. Try the following:

1. Disable NTP.

2. Set the system time with the command 'ntpdate'.

3. Enable NTP.

Regards,

Zach

I am also getting this error, and I have checked the clock on  the inline devices and the CM and all are set insync.  Any other ideas?

kernel: %WAAS-SYS-4-900000: time.c: can't update CMOS

Hi Brian,

You have posted to the wrong community. Could you please move your thread to "Wide Area Application Services (WAAS)" community?

This thread is over a year old. I don't think the WAAS community existed when I posted it. FWIW we had to RMA the WAAS with this error.
