Even though we know most of the modules are warm insertable (hot swapable), are there any experience, comment or recommendation about inserting a WS-SUP32-GE-3B (the second supervisor) on Warm?.
Thanks in advance,
Juan Salgado

Hello Juan,
you can install the sup on the live chassis, take care of electostatic charges connecting your body to the chassis
see
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6500/hardware/Config_Notes/78_16999.html
Your own ESD-prevention equipment or the disposable grounding wrist strap included with all upgrade kits, field-replaceable units (FRUs), and spares
Hope to help

Hi Juan,
Just make sure the IOS of the new Sup blade is the same with the current one. Also make sure that there is NO configs available.
