Final CCNA Prep book

Unanswered Question
May 14th, 2009

I finished my last CCNA class recently, and I want to buy a study book that will hit on the major points (vs. reading all four volumes of my CCNA class material). I thought about CCNA Exam Cram V3, but from reviews, it seems full of errors....surprisingly Lammle's fast pass book doesn't get glowing reviews either, but not have read any other reviews, I don't know if this is norm for the industry. What good book can I use for the next 2-3 weeks to brush up, go over major points for the upcoming 802 test?

Thanks

Jimmy

I have this problem too.

Considering that you are that close - I would recommend a different approach. Go find a reputable and legal practice test vendor to practice with. There are several of them out there to choose from. www.certguard.com has a whole list of acceptable practice test vendors. This will probably be the best use of your time over the next couple weeks.

Good Luck!

I wanted a good ol'e book to read, I felt the certguard site was clunky and hard to navigate, looked like alot of propaganda leading to nothing (like socialism lol)!

Thanks for your input though.

since you only have two to three weeks its kinda hard to say. I would say you can use the "31 Days Before Your CCNA Exam" - second edition book which was done by allan Johnson.

I wound up buying Lammle Fast Pass book, its a good supplement to a regular text book, and approaches the concepts quite differently from his 700 page book.

Hi all:

I use one book "31 days before your CCNA", this book will help you to refresh all your knowledge also I used the CBTs.

The book focused in all the topic for the 640-802 exam.

And also there is a good Lab practice at the end where you can practice all the configurations learned in CCNA.

Best regards.
