Hi,
CAn you use a CAS to be a wireless OOB as well as a wired OOB server at the same time. I believe you have to choose one or the other when you add the server to the CAM.

Layer 3 Out-of-Band Deployment Use Cases
â¢OOB is for wired deployments only
â¢L3 OOB is best used in Routed Access deployments
â¢L3 OOB can also be used for Remote WAN sites but considerations/tradeoffs with other deployments, such as:
-Remote CAS to WAN sites
-L3 IB CAS in Central site to support WAN sites

Hi, Thank you for your reply. I maybe forgot to mention this was supposed to be a layer 2 deployment hence it is wireless OOB

Both wired and wireless can work with the same box. There is no deployment mode ONLY for wireless. You add the WLC in the device list, just as you used to add switches. As a single box in OOB mode can support multiple switches, it can also support a combination of switches and WLCs.
