WLC4402 and Linksys WET200 Bridge

Hi,

we use a WLC4402 with LWAPPs and different VLANs and SSIDs. I've configured a Linksys WET200 to associate to one of the SSIDs.

On the WLC I can see, that the WET200 is associated. But with the connected PC to the WET200 (static IP) I can't ping any other ressource in that vlan.

Do I need other seetings on the WLC to allow pass traffic through the WET200?

Greetings,

Rouven

PS: Using an AP1130 in WGB Mode it works fine. The WLC recognize that this "Client" is a WGB. But how can I fix this with Linksys WET200 Bridge.

The following is from the WLC 4.2 config guide. It may apply to the WET200.

Note*** The controller supports only Cisco WGB products. Linksys and OEM WGB devices are not supported. Although the Cisco Wireless Unified Solution does not support the Linksys WET54G and WET11B Ethernet Bridges, you can use these devices in a Wireless Unified

Solution configuration if you follow these guidelines:

1. Connect only one device to the WET54G or WET11B.

2. Enable the MAC cloning feature on the WET54G or WET11B to clone the connected

device.

3. Install the latest drivers and firmware on devices connected to the WET54G or WET11B.
