Hi,
We try to integrate the ACE module into ciscoworks.
But after having cisoworks fetch the config file of the ace module, it results into this error:
CM0056 Config fetch failed for Cause: CM0204 Could not create DeviceContext for 4452 Cause:
CM0206 Could not get the config transport implementation for x.x.x.x
Cause: UNKNOWN Action: Check if required device packages are available in RME.
Action: Check if protocol is supported by device and required device package is installed.
The error talks about a certain DEVICE PACKAGE. Is it available for ACE integration in Ciscoworks ?
Thanks,
Wim

It depends on the specific sysObjectID for this device as to whether or not it's actually supported in RME. However, you can get the latest RME device packages from Common Services > Software Center > Device Update, or from Cisco.com at http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/cw2000-rme .

Thanks for your information!
I think that ACE20-K9 module is not yet supported, since the latest ACE.RME dated from 19/01/09 only support the devices: ACE10K9 and ACE4710K9

No, the ACE20 should be supported. However, as I said, it depends on the sysObjectID of your specific device.

Hi,
Can we monitor & prepare reports about the ACE connections and probe using RME?
Thanks
