I have IGMP globally enabled on my SRW2024 switch as well as the other option in bridging along with XORP running on a Linux machine attached to the switch acting as an IGMP querier and the switch is still flooding multicast out on to all of the ports. I bought this switch because it was a cheap Layer II switch that merely required an IGMP querier to enable IGMP snooping. I have Allied Telesyn Layer II switches that are set up similarly, albeit on a different network, and are working flawlessly, although they are considerably more expensive. Thanks in advance.
