Hi,
Our client wants the below setup of WAAS in his branch office.
Core----->ASA (with VPN to HO)---->WAE---->ADSL Router (not managable)--------Internet---------HO---Master WAE
Is it possible or we have to propose 1841 router so we can do WCCP or PBR to divert traffic towards WAAS?

If you place the core wae outside of the ASA then all WAAS optimizations will not take place.
The traffic will enter the WAE encrypted therefore only TFO and LZ compression will occur.
You can place the WAE inline between CORE switch and ASA prior to encryption taking place.
Replacing switches , routers to support PBR or WCCP is an option. However inline will provide easiest integration to customers existing network without introducing additional costs to better achieve ROI

Core WAE is in US and working)
So for branch where core-->WAE--->ASA--Internet, can we do PBR on core to redirect all the traffic to WAE (connected to core)???

yes, But the WAE becomes the next hop router. With Cisco IOS you need to configure IP SLA to track the next hop router
