I was looking for info related for the differences between the 6500 and 6509E chassis. I will be upgrading the 6500 to 6500# chassis to make my LAN ready for IPT. But I wanted to see if anyone had a link which explicitly shows the comparison between these chassis.

Appreciate your help.

It is primarily to do with how many PoE devices can be supported. Have a look at this link -
