Configuring IE browser PAC file on ASA for IPSEC RA client

I would like to configure our VPN to use a browser proxy PAC file URL string. Something like "http://proxy.company.com/scripts/ie.pac". The VPN client reports an error "Invalid Browser Configuration Received from Peer". In the proxy section of the group policy I check the option "use PAC given below" and the string is a valid IE proxy URL. I'm on ASA ver 8.0.4(26) and VPN client 5.0.04.300. I also tried just a straight proxy address and that works. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

It looks like this feature may have been broken on 4.8 and higher. Vpn client 4.7 was the solution for the issue.
