How does this work?

I enabled HREAP to make wifi phones get the same network IP as the regualar Desk phone. But...the IP does not change if there is a overlap signal.

When you say "overlap signal," do you mean that the same SSID is used by both an HREAP and a regular LWAPP AP in the same area? Also, what kind of phone system is this?
