If you have changed the image name in flash you can use the show version command. It will certainly give you version information. I am not sure that it is possible to get the "real ios name" once you have changed the image name in flash.

Regardless of what name you give the image file in flash, you will always have a line like this in the 'show version' output:

Cisco IOS Software, C3560 Software (C3560-IPSERVICES-M), Version 12.2(35)SE5, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

This tells that you run IP Services and your version is 12.2(35)SE5
