3rd party system to instruct call manager assign DN to phones

Dears,

One of our client is having HIS (hospital information system)and they want to integrate it with Cisco ucm 7. when a patient is checked in the HIS should tell CUCM to provide DN to the Phone. when patient checks out form HIS, CUCM should remove the DN.

Are there any API's or programming capabilities in CUCM to do that. I am not aware of the HIS.

Hi there,

What version of CUCM are you using, Do you have Unity as well?

Cisco does have the Cisco Bell Hop available
