C6513 intermitten every 30 second

Hi,

my C6513 intermittent every 30 second.

reply for 30 second and timeout 6 times and reply again continuosly.

Attached the sample.

Please help?

Are you running CEF? If not, the 6500s use a redirect mechanism to move packets that leave the sup module. This causes high CPU, so there is a built-in throttle mechanism to prevent DoS type attacks. So, the sup module can drop your pings because they come in at a high rate. Try enabling CEF and see if your issue goes away.

Yes, my C6500'S was'nt run CEF, it is neccessary to config CEF in my all C6500's, can you show me to config CEF.

For IOS all you need to enter is:

ip cef
